Dayak is a collective name given to a group of over 200 tribes and they are the people natives of jungle. The giant muddy river Mahakam divides itself into three geographical regions; the lower, middle and upper Mahakam.The exotic forests of the Kalimantan Island are the best places to explore. It has a tropical climate round the year with a temperature range from 26° to 30° Celsius in the day time and eventually falling to 15° to 20° Celsius in the night. The dry season extend from mid-April to September.
